A representative from One in Ten productions let us know about their partnership with the Hillwood Museum‘s GLBT Outreach program which features outdoor screenings of camp classics featuring classic film divas in a three-film series called Divas Outdoors. This announcement comes just in time for their Pride-weekend screening of Strait-Jacket, a movie in which Joan Crawford goes crazy and wields an axe. Heads will roll.
This sounds like a fun, outdoor opportunity to celebrate Pride and Friday the 13th in a unique and campy way.
Unfortunately, we found about this series just before the final screening. Hopefully next year we’ll get the memo a bit sooner.
