Yeasayer will be performing at the Black Cat on April 10. Tickets are 12 bucks and still available. I’m really digging this band. Their music is like Fleetwood Mac and Queen meeting in India then making a baby on the back of an elephant. Dunno, that’s just how I feel. (This is a fan video. They don’t have their own it seems).

Fuck you, Kate Perry. That song was pretty much just a list of gay stereotypes over a beat that sounds like it is from a 8 year-old morcheeba song. There is a word for a guy who wears to much makeup and jacks off to mozart, kate- its douche bag. Maybe you should stop dating them.
I agree with Zack. That dumbass song made me angry – esp. her cutesy-wootsy “I’m so clever” approach to the whole thing. She sucks, sucks, sucks. I usually like “Gay” humor, but only when its done by smart people.
And check it out, I bet the girl doll representing her in the video doesn’t have a vagina, so the “hilarious” slam with the boy doll representing her ex being dickless doesn’t exactly work, now does it? Like I said, gay humor is best when done by smart people.
That said, the B-52s song was great – Fred is still So Gay (right on), Ricky is still a little hottie (such cheekbones!) and Kate is exceptionally beautiful, still. And the song was rockin.’
The more I think about it, the more I dislike the song. I posted it because I thought it was provocative. It is kind of funny that he was wearing an all-over print hoodie. Why are those so popular?
not to imply that in a rumble with zack and rob you’d get snapped in half like a dry twig, ben… but just in case you need it, i got your back:) i thought the KP song was funny. And if by “provocative” you meant that it has the potential to spark debate about the ethics of outsourcing and who really gets cheated when fair labor standards aren’t followed in the garment industry… then yikes, that’s kind of a stretch ben, but i guess i got your back on that too. Because I mean really, ain’t no way in hell an H&M scarf gonna be strong enough to hang a man! i’m just saying;)
