Bradford Cox, frontman of Deerhunter and new project Atlas Sound (which appears tonight at The Black Cat backstage, doors opening at 9) is interesting for a couple different reasons. Foremost, queer-identified Cox suffers from Marfan Syndrome, a condition which lengthens the limbs and body, and has been known to wear a dress on stage. Secondly, Atlas’ just released “Let The Blind Lead Those Who Can See But Cannot Feel” is a pretty good and would probably translate well to the stage. Bonus points to anyone who can track Bradford down after the show and find out just how tall he is.
