Local gay acoustic musician Tom Goss, who released his album “Rise” in January, is having a debut party for the album’s title track at Nellie’s this coming Sunday evening. The full press release is below the fold.

Tom Goss is a DC artist, making edgy acoustic pop that appeals to diverse
tastes and evokes a wide range of emotions. His muscular, intelligent songs
match sounds that make you move with words that make you think.
With his recently released CD “Rise” (Jan. 2008) and its anthemic title track,
Goss has penned an anthem for anyone for anyone searching for truth, hoping to
find themselves along the way.
Rise follows two characters, one reeling from a breakup and one (Goss) trying to
find hope in his disjointed past. What they both find along the way is that there is
more to life then the worlds they surround themselves with.
