Politics: The Mountain Goats on Super Tuesday


4AD band The Mountain Goats (pictured) put out a Super Tuesday song yesterday. And while its no secret that politician’s election-time pandering borders on soul-sucking, this song does a lot to play up the vampire metaphor. Its pretty good too. Give it a listen and remember: Vampires only kiss you when they’ve sharpened up their fangs.

I haven’t yet found a way to embed the song itself, but you can listen to it here, on the NPR website, if you don’t mind a couple seconds of radio banter beforehand.
