This weekend the leather community is having their annual event at the Washington Plaza Hotel in Dupont Circle. You can find details on their website.

Apparently the entire hotel is bought out for the weekend, so you can see some fairly graphic sights this weekend, if assless chaps and big hairy guys are your thing. I’ve never been there before, but I plan on going because I’m curious about the vendor exhibits. I’m told that everything from a worldwide selection of poppers to whips and toys and clothes will be on sale. I don’t use any of those things, but I’m the curious sort so I figure its worth checking out once.

There’s also a couple of dance parties this weekend, including a fetish party at APEX (that should be interesting) and their main event at the 9:30 club.

In celebration of the leather weekend, I’m trying to rectify the fact that I don’t know much about the leather/fetish/bondage community. I found this site, which seems educational. It provides some basics, as well as a picture of satan jerking off: MALE BONDAGE RULES.
