Yes, boys and girls, DC’s sharpest queer trivia night, Smart Ass, is back. And this time, it’s Nellie’s. For those of you who missed it the first time around…
Smart Ass is a weekly pub trivia night with two games starting at 8 and 9 pm every Wednesday night. Teams compete against each other to win money off their bar tab and other incredible prizes. We’ll test your knowledge of all kinds of subjects with a healthy dose of pop culture thrown in.
Smartass was probably the canary in the coal mine that was Titan/Dakota Cowgirl. From what I understand from one of the organizers, Smartass decided to suspend operations at Titan when the venue started to transform itself into a serious S&M club, i.e. Ramrod. The organizer told me that they had switched all the light bulbs in the venue from white to red, but had to switch them back for the weekly trivia night. So they jumped ship, reorganized, and are ready to stump your smartass asses.
