How many straight guys do you know that would come with you to Cobalt? How many would actually enjoy themselves? My good friend Brian Porter (far right) accomplished both those feats and I owe him a big favor.
I’m out of town this weekend, but Porter’s band Imperial China plays its inaugural show this Saturday at The Red and Black. If Porter’s to be believed (and he usually is) Imperial is a little Battles, a little Talking Heads, and alot of beats to dance to. It should be fun.
The guys go on at 10 p.m., so make sure you get there early enough to get a good spot.
