In college all my gay friends were driving off to the nearest gay club to dance to techno while I was longing for someone to have coffee with and talk about "Pictures of You" by the Cure. So this article resonates greatly with my strength of knowing who I am but my struggle in finding a social outlet that fits! Cheers. This was awesome, dude. There are so many instances in life when we wish we had a book on how things work. "Growing up gay" would definitely be one of those instances. We don't necessarily get a prep course and it's even more rare to get a pep talk. Thank you for this, it gave me a different perspective on my own sexuality and encourages me to explore it, and myself, a little bit more every day. I think you put this very well.
