Some stuff about me . . .
- My name is the result of an alphabet adjective name game ice-breaker gone horribly and permanently wrong.
- I’m a graduate student (I thought it was a good idea at the time) with too many jobs and too little income. Right now I mostly split my time between studying human rights in Africa and getting paid to say mean things about celebrities online. I like to think it keeps me balanced.
- My last name loosely translates to “slobbering” or “drooling” in many Romance languages.
- I’m really into music, writing, reading entirely too many blogs, collecting quotes, playing adult kickball (flipcup!) and wine tasting, among other things.
- I’ve been told my totem animal is a baby orangutan . . . wearing a diaper.
- I’m originally from NY but did my undergrad work at the College of William and Mary – Go Tribe!
- I’ve been lucky enough over the years to trick various people who are infinitely cooler than I am into becoming some of my best friends. Thankfully, many of them now live here in DC and I’m always on the look out for new ones.
